Maybe you have gone through Google Play Store and get in contact with Brave Browser but doesn’t know how good the browser is or doesn’t know the worth, here in this article, I will give my review on Brave browser

brave browser

I know many people like me like browsing without been shown ads and pop-ups. Thou sometimes, those ads are useful, but most times they are not. So here is Brave Browser, a browser capable of blocking all ads and pop-ups

Why I Prefer Brave Browser

1. Blocks Ads and Pop-ups

Brave Browser and ads don’t play, they are Cat and Rat, especially when you instruct Brave to do so.

The name Brave really matches the work of the Browser, because Brave browser doesn’t only block anyhow ads, it also includes Google Ads.

The above image is the Homepage of Rocking Soccer game accessed using Brave browser at its default Shield settings. The ad on this page is under the Facilities, but it was left blank because Brave browser has done its work.

As you can see the image above, I have disabled my Brave browser shield and Google ads started showing up. That’s one sweet thing about Brave browser, you browse without ads and pop-ups.

2. Block any HTML Related Banner

Brave browser doesn’t only block responsive ads or 728×90 ads, it blocks any HTML banner on the page you are on.

As you can see, the Advertisement widget is left blank on my website because Brave has done what it can do best. Below is the same page with the HTML banner when ad blocker is disabled on Brave browser.

3. Gives easy Navigation to Enable or Disable ad blocker

Brave browser makes it easy for its user to enable or disable ad blocker on any page they are. Just click on the Brave icon and the settings will appear.

4. Blocks Trackers

This simply means Brave browser blocks all bots trying to track down your activity on the net.

Though one of the best way of protecting yourself on the internet is by using VPN apps, (100% protection not guaranteed), using Brave browser with VPN apps can aid more protection to your privacy on the internet.

As we all know, searching on Google is a way of giving out your privacy on the internet because Google stores your search history, DuckDuckGo is one of the best Search Engine that doesn’t track your search history

5. Block Third party Cookies

Cookies to me just means your data. Cookies enabled website to store information about you which will be used when next you visited the website.

You and the website you browsed are the first and second party, third party may include website plugins, themes, ads or others. With the help of Brave browser, you can block any third party from having access to your data.

6. Homepage Stats

At Brave browser homepage, all stats of ads and trackers blocked will be shown to you. This makes you understand the type of websites you browsed through and how much Brave have been protecting you.

7. Earn Money Using Brave

brave rewards

Using Brave browser can earn you some token of money. Brave pays its user through a crypto currency called Basic Attention Token (BAT)

BAT are currently withdrawn to your Uphold wallet only. So to receive your reward, you need to register and verify your Uphold Wallet.

Brave browser is okay, yes, it’s helpful. But hope you haven’t forgotten the Content locker plugin most blogger used??? They lock the content until you disable the Ad blocker you are using.

I won’t blame us because ads and banners are sources of income to Us. That’s how we get paid for doing what we know best. It’s advisable you support us by viewing and clicking on our ads sometimes.

Thou ad blocker shouldn’t discouraged you from using a browser capable of securing your privacy on the internet. Even thou ads shows, trackers and third party cookies are blocked by Brave browser.
